after getting married in brunswick heads, one of many delightful settings for a byron bay wedding, marc and tegan and their 75 treasured guests made their way to beach byron bay for an outstanding wedding reception. bali lights had been set up at the entrance and guests were able to mingle in the park while enjoying a dishes of tempura king prawns, peking duck pancakes and vietnamese rice paper roll. after throwing the bouquet and cutting the cake, a magnificent confection of red velvet, hazelnut chocolate and hummingbird cake, guest were ushered to their seats. all the while, josh boots kept the live music playing in a style seamlessly mirroring the tone of the day. some lovely touches included masses of flowers, napkins tied with twine and nametags, menus in frames and carefully chosen australian wines. guests could choose from three main meals including tender shoulder of lamb and delectable atlantic salmon. after many moving and heartfelt speeches by the bride and groom and significant family members, dancing commenced until time came for this lovely couple to depart. with a toss of the garter, they were off to start their wonderful life together. we wish them all the happiness in the world.
