19 Aug Love Blooms: Intimate Byron Bay Wedding
Sally and Brian’s Byron Bay wedding was pure, romantic simplicity. The couple used the allure of beautiful blooms and foliage in soft colours, with a Pacific Ocean backdrop, to style their big day. The day started with an intimate wedding ceremony in the Beach Byron Bay garden. Using the venue’s architectural wooden entrance as their arbour, the structure was adorned with a mass of roses, peonies and sage coloured greenery.
After exchanging their vows, the intimate wedding party basked in the afternoon sun, mingling in the garden as aperitivo was served. As dusk appeared over the horizon, guests were seated on the large outdoor terrace, with tables classically dressed in white linen and elegant floral centrepieces – that perfectly captured all the hues of the setting sun. As night fell, candles flickered, and guests dined under a canopy of string lights.
Using the simple beauty of nature and letting the venue speak for itself, Sally and Brian achieved an unmistakable feeling of elegance and romance. Capturing this essence was photographer Kate Nutt, who artfully photographed the beauty of the day. Here is just a glimpse of Kate’s stunning photos:
