After relocating to Byron Bay for a sea change lifestyle, Luisa and David didn’t have to look too far to find the perfect location for exchange their vows. Already accustom to assisting brides plan their own Byron Bay wedding, Luisa, the resident wedding coordinator at Beach Byron Bay chose the very venue she works in to celebrate their Australian vows. No surprises that it was a very special day for not only Luisa and David, but for the entire team at Beach.

In an idyllic garden setting in front of the Beach Restaurant, the pair married on a perfect Summer’s day in December. Following the ceremony, fifty guests joined in the beachside celebrations while enjoying canapes and champagne on the lawn.

As the sun set and the stars sparkled, the roof opened for a first class seat to the serene moonlit evening. Dozens of fairy lights from Byron Audio hung from the rooftop, with gorgeous fuchsia peonies from the French petal decorating the tables.

Roast prawns, curry leaves with burnt butter were part of the entrées served on the night, with guests having the choice of roast sucking pig, baked snapper or grilled and sliced dry aged beef for mains.

Then those all-important formalities which were held under a dazzling night sky…..

Of course there was always time for a bit of fun with a makeshift photo booth organised by Luisa that kept the guests well entertained.

No wedding is complete without a little dancing. DJ Beaver ensured the guests kicked up their heels well into the night. And as the evening drew to a close, guests were treated to a delicious coconut citrus cake from Byron Bay Cake Boutique, which was cut and served as canapes.
